New Dell Inspiron Duo Netbook

New Dell Inspiron Duo Netbook
The Dell Inspiron Duo convertible netbook / tablet is definitely a very interesting computer, and should be available as soon as next month (December).

The Dell Duo netvertible has taken a slightly different approach than most current netvertibles on the market, by having the 10.1-inch display rotates at its sides, rather than having a rotateable hinge at the bottom center of the display.

This allows you to easily use the device as a netbook with all it’s functions such as keyboard and touchpad, and then rotate and lower the lid to use it as a fully functional tablet PC.

The Dell Inspiron Duo has a 10.1-inch display with a 1366 x 768 HD resolution, and is powered by the new dual core Intel Atom N550 processor, along with 2GB of RAM and a 250GB / 320GB hard drive. It also features the Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator card for 1080p HD playback.

Priced at $549, the Dell Duo should be available early December. While the price might seem a little high, you are getting a well spec’ed netbook with good features such as the dual core processor, HD display, Windows 7 Home Premium, and of course the ability to use it as a touchscreen tablet PC.

The Dell Inspiron Duo has just shown up to pre-order from Microsoft for $549, and we’re sure it will soon be able to order from Dell directly.
