Acer Aspire Timeline 1825PT Convertible Tablet Notebook

Acer Aspire Timeline 1825PT Convertible Tablet Notebook
The Acer Aspire Timeline 1825PT convertible styled notebook is not new, after all Acer has been showing it off for a while, however they have recently made it official. Well, official in terms of writing up a press release and giving it a price tag and allowing people to actually place an order.

As for what the Timeline 1825PT offers. Well, in terms of features you can expect to find an 11.6 inch display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 and is multi-touch capable. Additionally, the Timeline 1825PT is a convertible style notebook, which means you can twist that display around for use as a tablet.

Other features include a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HDMI out, VGA out, Gigabit Ethernet, VGA quality webcam, memory card reader, Dolby Sound Room audio and a 6 cell battery.

In terms of RAM and storage space, the 1825PT can pack in up to 8GB of RAM and comes with an option for either a 250 or 320GB hard drive. Additionally, the Timeline 1825PT comes with a full sized keyboard, multi-touch capable trackpad, ships with Windows 7 Home Premium and is available in a variety of colors to include diamond black, sapphire blue and ruby red — all of which are glossy in nature.

Moving past the features and into the size and weight. Here we can expect to see 11.2 x 8.2 x 1.36 inches with a weight of around 3.8 pounds.

Price wise, expect to pay £599.99 (about $886 US) and up depending on configuration. And of course, judging from the price tag one may come to the assumption of where the Timeline 1825PT is available. Hint, not in the US. And as of now as US release has not been mentioned.

As for configurations and options, a few items that would be available to add on and drive up that price include Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a built in 3G modem.
